Hey all: Does anyone have any info on the Stargate "picture frame" that Studio Bergstrom sells. Particularly: 1. Does it only have details on one side? 2. Does anyone have any comments on the overal quality? |

Hi Can you tell me if it's shown on the site or not?. I've looked and can't find it. Gael Warrior |

I think he only uses a jewlery spin caster so i would venture the frame would be suitable for a small wallet photo so maybe 10-15mm; but that is just based on the stuff I bought from him and a conversation I had in person w/him about three years ago (right in front of a GW store ironicly) |

The trouble is, when they describe the model as "just under 8" round" are they talking about diameter or circumference? |

When you get to the Studio Bergstrom home page, click on the Order Form link. Then click on the photo of the picture frame to see the details page. Its described as 8 round with a 6 opening, and the ring is 1 wide. So that makes it 8 in diameter as I measure it. In an article in Cinefantastique, it was described by someone connected with the show as being 23 feet across (if I recall correctly). Assuming that means outside diameter, that would make this frame a little smaller than 1/35 scale (actually 1:34.5). |
