I have 28mm Foundry (Perry) American Civil War figs and need some standing horses to be held for dismounted cavalry actions. Do the Old Glory horses fit well enough with the Foundry figures to work on a diorama? Thanks for your help! |

The Old Glory horses do not have saddles, unless I am mistaken. I would think you would like the horses to appear as if the riders just dismounted, so they would still be saddled. I would go with Dixon saddled ACW horses myself. |

Old Glory has a pack of horses without riders, and figures standing holding the horses. These horses have saddles, according to the picture on their website. I know what you mean about their normal cavalry horses, but these are different. I will look into the Dixon saddled horses, thanks. I do not really know other brands much, I am so into Foundry (Perry). |

I think your best match with Foundry would be Sash and Saber. Short and stocky. |

The best standing, saddled, ACW horses and holders are done by Redoubt. They are , however, BIG 28s and not cheap!! Still they could be castings to check out for your project! |
