Just got my order of some 10mm Copplestone Fantasy figures. Man they are really nice. Oh and it took a total of 6 days to get to me. Wow that was fast. From the day I placed my order till it arrived at my house (6 days). Now you have to remember that I live in the US and Copplestone is in the UK. Absolutely amazing. I ordered the following. (1) 10mm Heroes and Halflings (2) 10mm Horse Tribe Cavalry (2) 10mm Horse Tribe Infantry (2) 10mm Half-Orcs with Swords (1) 10mm Orc Wolf-Riders (1) 10mm Evil Characters It is hard to say which are my favorites. They are all cast really well and require hardly any filing. I am going to paint up some Evil Characters first. I bought a painted up army and figure some evil characters could be used to help it out. Here is the army I bought. link For those wanting to paint some. Check Steve Dean's site for ones he painted up. link |

So it was you who got that amry! I don't like fantasy, but that's a lovely army, and Mark's figures might just be the best in 10mm. I just wish he'd do historicals in 10mm! |

I would love for him to do some more fantasy. I wish he was a little more open about what he is planning on releasing. It would be nice if he had a message board like Artizan does. |

I wish he would do 15mm ancients or fantasy. But I'm grateful some of those 10s are usable in 15mm fantasy. |

Yea the giant wolves work perfectly for 15mm. I hope he does some more wraiths on foot, say nine of them. |

I understand that the next release will be mounted good heroes. The problem with Copplestone 10mms is that tehy have 25mm detail and quality. So you can't just slap some paint on them and be done with it. You have to paint the belt buckles, and faces, and sword hilts. It's such a chore. ;) Here are some Horse Tribe Cavalry: picture
some levies: picture
some heroes: picture
and some more heroes: picture I'm certainly not the painter that Steve Dean is, but as you can see the detail of the figures makes a good result achievable for even us average painters. |

mandt2, Where did you hear that the next release would be mounted Heros? Sounds good to me. Like your pictures. Must have taken you a long time to paint with all those belt buckels and all. :-) The good news is you don't need much paint. |

Once you order from Copplestone you get on his mailing list. He keeps you up-to-date on what he's working on. I can't recall if it was through his newsletter or personal correspondance that I learned this. It's been a while. I'll drop him a note and see if they are still on track. Thanks for the compliments. The hardest part was painting the gap between Aragorn's front teeth. Phew! |

Does any one in the US carry the Copplestone 10mm? I know The Warstore has the bigger figures but do not see the 10mm listed. Jake |

CPT – I ordered directly from Copplestone. It took 6 days to get to me here in the States. I am not sure if that is normal or not, but that is extremely fast. I don't think you could get it any faster from RLBPS. You can also order state side from RLBPS rlbps.com |
