More to the point, will this move force your hand on a project you'd planned for later? Here's my case. I've always wanted some of their swell Indian figures for a Muslim Indian army to face my Molniya Timurids. The mounted nobles are particularly wonderful. So I think I might be forced to dance by the evil puppet master. Anyone else in the same boat? |

M"ore to the point, will this move force your hand on a project you'd planned for later?" Nope. "So I think I might be forced to dance by the evil puppet master. Anyone else in the same boat?" Nope. Don't give in to the Dark Side, Steve. There are plenty of great (and sanely priced) models out there to occupy your time. Allen |

Allen, maybe you can talk me off the ledge with a bullhorn. But so far I don't know of any better models for recreating Sultan Mahmud's army of 1398. Perhaps this post was a Britney-like cry for help? |

What about The London War Room's "Fighting Men of India" range: link Or see if Eureka would do suitable models? Allen |
| SBSchifani | 08 Mar 2007 11:45 p.m. PST |
Yessss indeed. I like the London War Room's ample selection of foot. The rockets are a huge help for the battle of Delhi. And many of the figures have accurate headgear that I haven't seen anywhere else. But Foundry's noble cavalry still beckon. I think the unit deal might be the way to go for those packs I can't resist. That does cut down my Foundry requirements considerably. Thanks, Allen! You are mean and old and may not have much time left
.
.oh, were you waiting for a "but"? Just kidding, thanks for steering me toward the light. Steve |

I have a bunch of the Foundry matchlockmen. I'm not sure why. Must have gotten old and forgot

Ah, yes, now I remember. It was the last Foundry sale. Devious b******s

All I really need from Foundry is a horde of pirates and one of Vikings. I hadn't planned on buying them for several years anyway, so I will probably still buy them in several years without too much worry over the higher prices. |

Nationalise the company and force them to sell their figures at Cost. Bagsy living on Guernsey and shagging a girl with big knockers in an enormous pile of money, sweets and cream-cakes like what Ansell does. Pat |
| Lordofdane | 09 Mar 2007 5:29 a.m. PST |
I only buy Foundry with the Chrismas Hordes deals and fill the armies out with 2nd hands or loose blisters anywhere on sale, Only thing is, though, that I always end up buying more since there's so much good stuff in the Hordes and it all is too attractive to me. |

I don't care how much figures cost. If I like them I buy them. If I don't I don't. I like a lot of Foundry's figures.. |

>"I don't care how much figures cost. If I like them I buy them." On behalf of all the non-millionaires I'd like to ask you if you could keep your voice down a bit? |

"Bagsy living on Guernsey" They aren't there anymore. They joined the rest of the horde and moved to Nottingham a long time ago. Although from what I hear, Ansells house in Nottingham is pretty damn lavish. Although to be fair, that's mostly from the money he had before starting Foundry. I wanna be rich enough to start my own miniatures company and not care about alienating the customers 'cause I never really needed the money anyway! |

Hm..Trouble. Use Old Glory. They must have them. Not the same I know but if you don'twant to spend that is the way to go. |

Friends don't let friends buy Foundry. Because, if they do, they end up saying, "Well, if you must, let me add to the order to save on postage." |
| KSmyth | 09 Mar 2007 7:33 a.m. PST |
Ummm, not so John. If ya gotta have just one pack, get 'em from the WarStore, and tack it on to your Perry order. K. |

KSmyth read my mind. I believe X-mas is a busy time for Foundry. Evidence of that is the fact that their X-mas sale lasts 4 months now. |

I have for the most part only have purchased there stuff when they had there christmas deals or customer appreciation sales and you could get there collection and hordes at a reasonable price. I will not buy there figure by one or two packs at a time. I do not plan on getting into another period which Foundry offers so I will not be buying anything from them for a long time. |

Well, I hope the increased revenue will help them increase the number of renaissance horses. I think there are only two – three poses. I do like their horses, and would like to buy some cav, but don't want my formations looking like they are from the Clone Wars. |

Did 14th C. Indian noble cavalry look much the same as 19th C. Indian cavalry? They are very nice figures and I am happy that I already have shedloads of them. |
| doug redshirt | 10 Mar 2007 2:39 p.m. PST |
You can do what I did about 10 years. Stop buying them. |
| Skeptic | 13 Mar 2007 10:42 a.m. PST |
I suspect that it may be because other manufacturers' (the ones that continue to release new sculpts) prices have exceeded the Foundry's, and they are aiming to price at what they think the market will bear

I placed what I hope will be my final order with Foundry last night (except, possibly, Xmas sales). Grrr. Simon |
