"Osprey Battle Orders 2: Wellington’s Peninsular Army 1808-14" Topic

I've found this book to be very informative and helpful. There are a few errors in the schematics so here's a list of the ones I've found. It isn't a detailed review, just some things I've noticed. Feel free to add any others you know of.

Page 40
The furthest right 1/KGL and 2/KGL battalions are Light not Line.

Pages 45 and 46
The rifle company in Howard's / Cadogan's/ Barnes' brigade was from the 5/60th (not 3/95th).

Page 51
The 2/5th in Keane's brigade should be 1/5th.

Page 63
Hinde's/ Lambert's brigade in the 6th Division did not have a 5/60th company attached.

Page 83
The 5th Dragoon Guards are missing from Le Marchant's brigade.

Good work. What is your source?

The corrections to pages 45, 46, 51 and 83 come from the text in the book next to the schematics.

Pages 40, 51 and 83 are clearly typing mistakes.

I checked them against Oman's OOB for Vitoria and Wellington's Supplementary Dispatches for 25/1/14 "Brigading of the Army".

This kind of thing is invaluable.

I have spotted awful errors in my book reviews of surgical textbooks and sent many a suggested correction. Guess the number of responses between 0 and 1. Consider these are manuals for surgeons basically. No one gives a ….("damn" was it that Clarke Gable said?)

Tilson's Brigade has 3/66th should be 2/66th, corrected on next page. I think that one's a typo that goes all the way back to Oman's Wellington's Army.
