Get the Exacto saws and putty ready, because according to this YOUTUBE "expert" with a Scottish accent and the arrogance of a channel name of "The Knowledge of Everything", if your little guys aren't wearing Mexican sombreros or Bowler hats…..well then, they ain't cowboys.

Watched a video why hats have gone out of style and had a good history of hat styles which rotated often it seems.

From Tango's post about saloons: link

Although most of the pictures are late 1800s to early 1900s, the range of hats is impressive.

I don't rate this as few of the images, if any, shown in the Youtube video look like cowboys on the range – they may be cowboys but they're certainly not in their working attire.

If you scroll through the gallery at the link there seems to be plenty of 'cowboys' wearing neither sombreros or bowlers.

Nope, seen to many photos from the era that show a wide range of headwear. No way a cowboy out moving cattle would be wearing a bowler. The wind would constantly be blowing it off, it was no cover for the rain and no cover from the sun.

I am not sure about Wild West having the wrong headgear. The combatants were all civilians from many countries and background. A lot depends on the era you are playing. Western actions began very early in the century.

Without wishing to be unkind, the boy is a Bleeped textt and talking bølløcks.

However, his imitation of an agitated crab is close to perfection.

LOL, I too found him to be an ignorant dweeb who appears to be out of his area of expertise when he pulls the flush chain. His other posts are equally as bad but hover within the periphery of his potential knowledge, like the composition of soft drinks.

For more realistic videos on western subjects I recommend The Arizona Ghostriders.
