I'd like to house rule some airplane stats for my Pacific naval games. These would be planes that are not covered in the rules I use. Unfortunately, I don't know very much about WW2 planes so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Planes that are covered:
Wildcat 7 / B1
Dauntless 4 / B9
Zero 8 / B3
First number is added to dice roll vs other planes. Second is vs ships. Dive bombers can attack at Point Blank Range. Heavy bombers at Extreme range. Everyone else at Normal.
How should I rate a US P-38, B25-g and a PBY seaplane? Same goes for the Japanese Ki-27 Nate, Ki-43 Oscar, Nik-J George, G3M3 Nell and the G4m Betty.
I've read the Nate was similar to the Zero while the George was like the P-51.
The B25-g is giving me the most trouble. What type of bomber is it? Didn't they skip bombs into ships at close range too? Was the 75mm gun really effective against ships?
