Hard question-- there are so many. Probably choose the c.1600 Muscovites. Played these in an uncompleted Renaissance campaign while cowering from the Poles (errr…Fredonians) and Turks. They managed to absorb the fearsome charge of the Polish winged hussars with a mere 10x of their own numbers with the Gush Renaissance rules 8-). In a number of DBR games, they have performed valiantly against ECW Royalists and Ottomans. Some good-- some bad, but they're always ready to answer the call to battle. |

I largest army was that I had when I was playtesting Guad du Corps. So I had thirty battalions plus arty and savalry units of every nationality of the Napoleonic Wars. |
