As these can be useful, especially for historical movies, as well as entertaining to listen to.

I thought I would let people know I have solved an issue I have had in regards to DVD commentary.

I have had some DVDs, official bought versions, that state they have commentary. However, when you go to the discs menu, no commentary option to click exists.

I was thinking maybe during production they for some reason didn't end up putting it on the disc, even though packaging says it's there.

I have discovered, on one so far, that it is on the disc, but not in disc the menu.

You have to select your DVD player menu and scroll through the languages for the disc to find the English commentary track.

I hope this helps people experiencing similar issues, please pass the info on to others.

Now, I've got some discs to go check!

Thanks for the info!

I used to love commentary tracks. I really just watch streaming stuff now.

Well…

One shows season worked, another shows season has no commentary at all, even though it's listed on the box, as it's only got 1 audio track. I may try it on a computer next.
