My friend Markus Gärtner has studied many years the troops of the Germans (aka the "Hessians") fighting in the American War of Independence.

Now our editor, the Zeughaus-Verlag, has announced the first volume of two, this one dealing with the troops of Brunswick, Hesse-Hanau and Anhalt-Zerbst. The volume has 120 pages and lots of images, mostly unknown. I also appreciate the infographies done by Stephan Huber … and yes, some Don Troiani are also included.

The German edition will be available at the end of may 2024 – and good news: an English translation is on the way :-)

You find the announcement plus some sample pages at link

I'll give a note here when the English version will be announced. And the "Berliner Zinnfiguren" also sends to the US Market.

Greetings from Berlin
Markus Stein
