A good piece, Cathy. The bit that defeats most folks is the drilling (and alignment) with the pinning. More detail (and photographs) on that is always welcome, if you have it. John T |

Hi, This dragon not a Partha dragon. I did this several years ago for Reaper Miniatures, code number 02864 Shadow Dragon. You are doing a great paint job on it-- Sandy :) |

Nice paint job. I like how you painted the wings different colors and selected the one you liked best. Makes sense, but I wouldn't have thought to do it. I'm one of those guys who would have painted the whole thing twice. :) I agree with John T, drilling and pinning can be a pain, especially drilling bits like the wings that aren't very thick and then getting them to line up later. I usually drill one side, insert the pin, then mark the pin with a dab of paint so that I know where I need to drill the hole on the other piece. Just my 2 pesos. |

OMG Sandra Garrity, I'm star-struck. Sorry but I have been buying her work forever, I know, I know, total fanboy, blah-blah-blah but, so awesome! |

Yes, as much advice on pinning as possible please. Another way of marking the second hole is to put a small piece of poster putty on that part, present the first part with the pin and then drill down through the the hole created in the putty. |
