Yeah, they would work for stone walls especially well. I'd back them with something solid, though. They could break up pretty easy. |

With the thicker cork, you can cut out any window and door openings that you like. Either frame in the windows and doors with bits of balsa or bass wood or strip styrene. If you're not too handy with building window frames and doors, then try various aftermarket plastic/styrene windows and doors offered by model railroad suppliers or doll house supplies, depending on the scale of the building you are making. |

Cork makes a nice, flat roof for foamcore buildings, too. You don't even have to paint 'em. Bob |

Yes, this wasn't an "I'm a genius" post (even though I am), it was a "need some buildings" post and figured I'd capture something for the Workbench since it doesn't rotate stock like most other boards. Matakishi was a heavy influence. Cheers |
