The green on the flesh gives the model a greenish hue. Since this is a woodelf and I am an old Dungeons and dragons fan, I feel liek wood elves should have a slight "woodsy" tint to their skin.

Basically it gives it a little something so they don't appear human. its not much of an effect to really jump out at the viewer(she's not an orc afterall), but just enough you will barely notice it.

Howdy. Today I would like to present my article on how I painted a Thunderbolt Wood Elf Noblewoman.

Wood Elf Noblewoman

One of the things I really like about Thunderbolt is that their miniatures are superbly sculpted. They are not thick and chunky, but rather are sculpted to a true correct scale and are very elegant.

Wood Elf Noblewoman

The figure I have is a tall, slender Elven female who is looking over her shoulder. At what she is looking is not clear, but I love this pose. I decided I wanted to go with softer natural colors, instead of using much brighter more vivid colors.

Since she is a Wood Elf, I thought a linen top would be a appropriate, with soft brown leggings. To tie it all together, a rich, dark auburn hair color would contrast very nicely with the green undertones I intended to use in the skin.
