This project takes an alternative approach to getting an army painted - the entirety of the army is to be painted by painting services. One domestic service (me!!) will paint unit sample figures and unique figures (general, wizard, etc…), while an overseas service will paint up the bulk of the units based on the samples.

Simple, right? Right! And the added bonus is that if you choose to get an army painted in this fashion, you never end up lifting a brush! Bonus!!

Many of the overseas painting services that specialize in doing lots of figures like to see a sample figure. With a sample, they can be sure they are painting what you want. I'll be painting one sample figure per unit (where figures in the unit differ significantly, I'll paint more as needed).
