They must be in class cuz they all have their hands raised.

That's the hand with the Plasma Claw weapon, but it's not clear why they are pointing up…

This time, unknown member has sent me three Conspiracy aliens. Funny lookin’ fellas, that they are!

Unpainted figure

For these figures, I used black undercoat spray, and all Citadel colours and brushes.

The main skin of the aliens is Deneb Stone. (Making me regret undercoating them black - I think with hindsight, the colour would look a little bit cleaner if I had broken tradition and done them white.) This then gets a thorough wash of Baal Red. I highlighted this with more Deneb Stone, and then the same colour with a bit of Skull White added. The idea for this colour was to create a natural-looking, pale, pink skin.

The scales and belly are painted in Hormagaunt Purple, and given a Leviathan Purple wash. Then spotted again with first Hormagaunt Purple, and then the same with a bit of Deneb Stone mixed in to help the colour look a little more organic.

The fun "gauntlet-thing" is painted with Orkhide Shade, highlighted with Snot Green, then Snot Green mixed with Sunburst Yellow and Skull White. This is a strong colour compared to the more muted natural tones of the rest of the model, and hopefully makes the gauntlet stand out. (Well, providing you are looking at the model from behind...)

The fingernails and teeth are Bestial Brown, then Bleached Bone, then a teeny bit of white.

The bases are sand, painted black and drybrushed with Scorched Brown, then Bestial Brown, then Vomit Brown, and finally Bleached Bone. A few patches of static grass finish off the model.
