In this photo, you can see how the detail-painting has started. I decided that the collars and cuffs should be a bright blue. I used GW Regal Blue, and highlighted with Regal Blue and Skull White. Figure six, on the far right, has a pale-cream-and-green blanket - I wanted to add a little bit of variety to the group.

Still more detail painting. You may also be aware that I have re-modelled the standard bearer. The original flag has a very thin flagpole, and I had damaged it a couple of times during the painting. I cut the flag off, and repositioned it into a small, drilled hole with superglue. The cook's apron and rolling pin were great fun to paint.

Halflings

More detail painting.

The painting finished, mainly metallic paints at this stage, but also the bases. I am particularly proud of the cook, whom I have named Ray.
