Now, the next few shots are out of focus, but you can still see what I was trying to do.

Using a #0000 brush and black ink, I outlined the rest of the nose art design.

Using the same brush, I laid in the base body-color of sandstone.

The next step was to paint the ears, and outline them by adding one drop of white to the same brown color used on the ears.

Now, using the same technique, I did the tongue in a deep red and highlighted it.

Add some drool drops, a few spots for whiskers, and some lines for toes - and bam, you have a cute little doggie!
