I don't have any good in-media-res pictures of the highlighting process, just some crappy after-shots. However, I use a fairly basic system for highlighting. Now that I was back home, I used my wet palette, which is just the small wet palette you can buy from Dick Blick. I made mixtures of the base shades, added more white to each, and applied thin layers of lighter paint, building up.
