Our Simian Army - as designed by reader altfritz includes a pair of Simian Senators. The Senators will, according to altfritz's plan:

"...allow the player to act and react with the speed and efficiency of the historical Roman army."
Senator in the pack

Senators have the Commander and Succession abilities in Hundred Kingdoms, which makes them very useful when trying to keep the army under control. They are Panzees, and represent rich and powerful individuals who have been able to purchase their positions within the corrupt Simian Empire.

Senator - front view

The figure is dressed in Roman-style clothing, including a rope/sash that goes over the right shoulder and around the waist (tying in front). There is an inner sleeve within the outer flowing sleeve. The Senator also wears sandals (the strap goes over the four toes, leaving the "thumb" free - a nice touch).

Senator - back view

The figure holds a staff in the right hand, while four scrolls are clutched in the left arm. The figure is sculpted to fit into a standard round slottabase (one is included in the pack).

Senator - side view

The only imperfections noticed were slight seams on the top right sleeve and across the top of the head.

Figure measures 31mm from bottom of foot to eye level, and 33mm to top of the head.
