Ships like cutters and corsairs would be great in 1/600…if only because I already got a lot of 1/600 stuff.

I'm not a real big fan of close-up photography, nor am I good at it.

And... if you've ever wondered how tight these little ships were: Here's about half the crew manned to starboard on a cutter.

Meaurement Conversion	Approximately 68" on gundeck	Approximately 100" on gundeck
Pros	Nice crisp kit, good deck detail, accurate sheer, nice masts and sails	OK representation of a small/moderate-sized corvette
Cons	bowsprit may be incorrectly modelled not sure cutters had stern guns	pieces missing (bowsprit, headsails) one mast broken sheer faked some flash on sails poor fit, sails-to-masts oversized lugs for holding sails to masts Only 10 guns molded mast holes oversized sails, particularly uppermost, oversized for ship
Overall Comments	A good build - straight from bag to tabletop	Needed a lot of work
