Nice,
How do they compare to the
Mighty Armies 15mm Mammoth?

I bought the Ashurite Oliphaunt from the Black Raven Foundry 15mm fantasy range (now available from Old Glory 15s) a while back, and have been looking for a compatible mammoth model to go with it. Then last week, I saw the 10mm Mammupach by Eureka Miniatures on their site, and decided to get one to see if it will do the job.

Here is a picture of the Mammupach from the Eureka catalogue:

Mammupach components

As you can see, it comes with four pairs of tusks and four spikes, but there is no picture of the completed model or any way to gauge its size.

As usual, the order arrived within a week, and as usual I was pleased with what I saw.

In my excitement I did not take pictures of the model as it was, but as you can see from the picture, it is similar in size to the BRF model (shown here without its howdah, on a 40mm square base). Both models stand at about 40mm at the shoulder. (I have not attached a howdah on the BRF model because I have not actually decided which army to use the mammoth with.)

Oliphaunt (left) and Mammupach

The Mammupach is a one-piece casting, with an integral base which fits nicely on a 40mm square base.

What was not apparent from the picture on Eureka's site was that there is a socket on the forehead of the Mammupach, presumably for a spike or horn, and that there are four sockets for tusks - which, given the variety of tusks supplied, will allow you to customise your Mammupach.
