At the end of Round Three, we are already down to the final three contestants. Both RobH and SavageCoyote failed to submit an entry for the round, and sounguru was cast out in the voting.

The readers of TMP voted to determine this round's theme:

Dazzle

Think WWI airplanes and warships. The dazzle scheme is intended to break up the lines, make it unclear if the 'mech is coming or going (this could include painting a face on the back, etc.) and other things. It's not to stop being seen, but to make it harder to be hit (hey, it's Battletech, targeting technology isn't much better than the Mk1 eyeball). For more information

Farewell...

Unfortunately, one of the remaining three contestants was unable to submit an entry for this round - thus, automatically turning the fourth round into the final round for this contest! B1BFlyer had hoped to be able to "paint ahead" and continue with the contest despite being deployed with the military last month... but unfortunately, it did not work out.

Which means that B1BFlyer takes Third Place (and the $100 USD prize from Iron Wind Metals), leaving us with two remaining Finalists - and this round will determine the contest winner!
