Last Painter Standing is a grueling, multi-round painting contest which only the world's best painter can survive!

The original Last Painter Standing was a fantasy and science-fiction painting contest that involved dozens of entrants, eleven Finalists, and lasted six rounds.

This webpage is devoted to Last Painter Standing II, the second incarnation of our grueling endurance contest. focusing this time on BattleTech. In the beginning, dozens of contestants from across the globe submited photos of their work and a written statement explaining why they should be chosen as Finalists. In three rounds of balloting, the readers of TMP selected ten Finalists.

Now, we're in the painting stage of the contest. Each Finalist has received a unique selection of 'Mech models (provided by Iron Wind Metals). The readers of TMP determine a painting theme for each round. The Finalists then must select one of their available models, paint it according to that theme, and submit a write-up and photographs before the deadline. The readers of TMP then select one Finalist each round to eliminate from the contest.

In the end, there can only be a single painter left standing...
