The completed Ghorgor-Bey

Now I know where I made errors, and in which order I would paint him now to make my work easier. I had to repaint the black leather to make it more expressive. I highlighted the spikes and edges of the shoulder-pads, I tinted the tooth in the back with yellow, and I highlighted the hair.

I started well, but the smaller elements I was left with, the more confused and lost I was becoming with what was still to do. grin

I shouldn't have lefr the red trimmings on his legs for later – I waited on them till the very end, and I should have done them with the ribbons. Well, these are the downsides of painting what you fancy at the moment! grin The ribbons were the least enjoyable part of the paintjob. And they were the only element which really bored me. grin

But, all in all, it was a great adventure!
