Thanks to Adam for that write-up! However, looking at the trolls here at TMP and looking at Adam's photographs, I realized that his pictures weren't doing justice to the figures.

Hill Trolls

So I popped them in front of my camera - and you know what? These Hill Trolls are very camera shy!

In real life, Adam has painted these with a vibrant, electric blue which is very hard to capture in a picture. (I've tried...)

The coloring of the shields and the hammers is also difficult to capture - it tends to look dark and muddy brown in pictures, but in real life the highlights gleam brightly.

The shield is hard to capture!

A note on shipping: Adam wisely left the shields off when he mailed the figures, and they were easily attached when they arrived at TMP. Two of the hammers managed to come detached while traveling... but again, a little superglue and they were popped right back into place.
