Our ongoing Barbarosa Project calls for a "political section" - including a Soviet commisar. Where to find one in 28mm scale?

Once again, it turns out that Battle Honours makes Soviet NKVD political troops (as part of their Late-War line) - and 19th Century Miniatures (manufacturer of the product line) was kind enough to supply figures for this project.

In looking for a qualified painter to do a world-class job for the Project, we were immediately attracted to DJD Miniatures. They've made a big splash in the hobby lately, operating a large-scale professional painting service with the head office in Vancouver, and operations in Thailand.

So we contacted them, and Dave at DJD replied: "We would be very interested in painting up the Soviet figures, or for that matter any others you wanted to get painted."
