Yes, the painting makes them look in-human. Really strange if they are meant to be people. The look like Dark Elves or some kind of zombie. |

If you've got the polarity right, the bases will stack nicely when not in use.
And here is a test, showing three 15mm figures - RPG militia from Peter Pig, painted by Fernando Painters - in place.
When I get a first game in, we'll see what the overall look is.
