Stage 6:

When the wet-blend was dry, I decided that the lionesses still looked a little too dark in colour, so they both got a drybrushing with Unbleached Titanium mixed with a touch of Golden Ochre and Bronze Yellow.

Stage 7:

Drybrushed the tuft of the tail with Golden Ochre. Painted the nose, central indentation on the muzzle, edge of the lips and eyes in GW Chaos Black.

All this black is to mimic the facial markings of lions as seen in various photos and wildlife documentaries.
