Dread Pirate Garness writes:

Next, the pelt was painted with GW Scorched Brown.

The pelt is painted Scorched Brown

(In the interests of full disclosure, I couldn't decide if the pelt was a wolf, a bear, or a lion. I initially thought it was a bear... but after I got started, I thought a lion would look better, and so I made the adjustment.)

I then began to touch up the straps and shoes and belts on the figure. For this, I used i-Kore Dark Earth as a base color.

(I also show an alligator clip that I used to hold the figure, so I would not have to touch the figure itself and risk rubbing off any paint.)

The leather was highlighted with a mix of Dark Earth and a little Ceramcoat Pineapple. I love using Ceramcoat Pineapple for a highlight mix because it is a pale yellow color, and keeps the colors bright, and tends to limit the greying that occurs when you add white to the base color.

The flesh was basecoated using Americana Fleshtone. The pelt was painted using Americana Honey.
