The loincloth was highlighted with Americana Toffee, and the leather under the belt was highlighted with GW Snakebite Leather (as was the leather greave). The helmet, metal greave and the belt were painted with Vallejo Brass The leather straps across the chest and on the arm armor were highlighted with GW Snakebite Leather.

Working on leather and brass

The helmet was washed with thinned-down GW Brown Ink, and the severed head was highlighted with GW Scorched Brown - with a little Americana Slate Grey mixed in to pale the skin color a bit. The chain armor was drybrushed in raised areas with Vallejo Silver, the weapon was painted using Vallejo Gunmetal, and the handle painted with Vallejo Brass.

Working on helmet and blade

The helmet, belt and metal greave were painted with Vallejo Brass. The straps and the leather greave were highlighted with a mix of GW Snakebite Leather and Ceramcoat Pineapple.

Working on straps, belt, and buckle

The plume of the helmet was basecoated with Americana Deep Red. The padding of the metal greave was painted with Americana Raw Siena.
