The basecoat is a mix of Deep Orange (851) and Citadel Vermin Fur. A wash of Vermin Fur is applied, and the highlights are done by adding Deep Orange to the base.
For the breastplate, I basecoated using a mix of Red Leather (818) and Bronze Green (897) (40/60). The highlights are done by adding Red Leather to the base color, and finishing with Deep Orange (851).
The armguards are done using the same technique, except that the Bronze Green is replaced by German Camouflage Extra Dark Green (896).
After that, I drew a small Celtic knot using Golden Brown (877), highlighted with white. The bracelets on the right arm and foot were basecoated with Ochre Brown (856), followed by a wash of Chocolate Brown (872). The highlights were done by addding white to the base, finishing with pure white on the sharpest areas.
The bracelets on the left arm and foot are in Bronze Green (897), highlighted with white.
The sickle was done using NMM (the "non-metallic metal" technique) - which means without using metallic paints.
The base color is Neutral Grey (992), shaded with black and higlighted with white. Pure white is used on the sharp areas receiving the most of light. The paint must be very diluted, in order to not show brushstrokes (which is not a complete success, in this case).
After that, a glaze of Andrea Blue (841) was applied to unify the layers, and to give a "cold" appearance to the blade.
For the spear tip, see the previous step.
The spear bottom was basecoated with Golden Brown (877), shaded with Bronze Green (897) and highlighted with white - finishing with pure white, as usual.
For the shaft, I tried to do a marble effect. I started with a first coat of Citadel Bleached Bone, followed by a wash of Citadel Snakebite Leather. After that, I highlighted with Bleached Bone. Several glazes of Stone Grey (884) were applied to unify the layers.
The marble veins were done with small strokes of Matt Flesh (955) and Brown Sand (876).
The totem and the "spines" were painted in the same manner as the breastplate (detailed in step 4).
The totem's horns were basecoated with Citadel Bleached Bone, highlighted with white, and shaded with Brown Sand (876).
The piece of wall is made of FIMO (a modeling material which is hardened in the oven). The Celtic knots were engraved after the firing, when the material was not completely hard.
It was basecoated with black, and highlighted with several drybrushings of Neutral Grey (992) and Stone Grey (884), adding white to the final drybrushing. A touch of green was applied to give more life to the stone.
After having glued the piece of wall onto the base with PVA glue, I covered the base with wood putty. After a basecoat of Chocolate Brown (872), several drybrushings - starting from German Camouflage Extra Dark Green (896) to pure Light Yellow (949) - were applied.
Static grass was glued on the stone to give more relief.
Voila - I hope these explanations will be useful for you. Now I know that it's not easy to write a good tutorial ;o)
