Last Painter Standing advances to the third round by switching back to fantasy - this time with i-Kore's Vidar Wolf Helm, a Dwarf figure from the Celtos product line.
And to recap the contest action, we're down to seven contestants now - Rogzombie was voted out in the second vote-out poll.
Once again, this round features a two-part figure:
In order to allow a more dynamic pose, the sculptor designed this figure to be cast in two parts - the main figure...
...and his two-handed sword (which actually includes his hands.
There are no connecting pins or fit indicators. A bracelet on one arm helps to hide the join, while a gauntlet on the other arm serves the same purpose.
Vidar Wolf Helm is wearing his "trademark" wolf cloak, with wolf's head over his head, and the long sections ending with wolf's claws. His arms and chest appear to be bare. Vidar has a skirt or kilt, with "drapes" of armor scale front and back. He wears boots. The sword is engraved with runic symbols on both sides.
Dimensions: 21mm from bottom of feet to eye level, 27mm to top of wolf's head. The sword is 29mm long.
For those interested in the background, Vidar Wolf Helm is part of the Vanir forces in i-Kore's Celtos game setting. The Vanir represent a Viking presence in Celtos, and are composed of Dwarves (male), Valkyries (female), and Frost Giants. Vidar can be used as a Greathammer (veteran Dwarf warrior) or a Hero.
The deadline for this round of the contest is: January 15th. As the write-ups come in, they will be posted here...
