Step 1

The miniatures were primed with white Rustoleum brand metal primer. The flesh was painted using Apple Barrel medium flesh.

Step 2

The flesh was washed with Liquitex Raw Sienna which was mixed with some gloss acrylic varnish to hold the pigment.

Step 3

Dwarf general, step 3

Base coats of assorted browns and dark reds were painted where they would appear to look good.

Dwarf priest, step 3

Dark brown was painted in the eye sockets.
