Personal logo Editor in Chief Bill The Editor of TMP Fezian writes:

Beowulf Fezian asked me to take a few pictures of the finished models - and while I was at it, I decided to fill you in on the rest of the story...

Shipping painted microarmor is a difficult art. Some of the models arrived here at TMP in perfect shape, while others were less fortunate and suffered minor paint dings and bent gun barrels.

(Which means, if the pictures below look too different from the pictures on the last page, that's where I touched up the models with slightly different colors of paint!)

One trick I find useful when straightening out delicate gun barrels is to use an X-acto blade to gently reach under the barrel and lift it up off the top of the model.

I also have a strong preference to base my 1:285 vehicles on metal bases, as I find (a) they suffer less damage when stored on magnetic sheets, and (b) the bases help protect the long tank guns. So I primed some metal bases, painted them brown, flocked them, and glued the models down to them.

And here they are:

T72 (front)

(Hmmm... that gun's not as straight as I thought it was...)
