Dread Pirate Garness I next began using Finity Sap Green as the base color. I thinned the paint to about 1-part paint to 6-parts water. The Sap Green has a bit of a translucent property to it, and by building up the layers of paint, I gave the base coat a nice depth of color that I thought worked well. I painted the torso, arms and legs (along with the back banner) in this manner. I did not shade the figure in the traditional manner. Because I was building up the color, I simply kept building up the color in the crevices until it was near black. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
