Before sending the models off to Cathy Hamaker of The Painter's Den, I took a few photos of the figures.

Pack of Messengers

The Messengers come two per pack, and represent the communications element of a Simian Empire army:

Although the Gorla infantry may be one of the most physically powerful infantries on the entire continent, they severely lack the speed needed to quickly close with their enemies. It takes a monumental amount of control to keep in line a full unit of the enormous Gorlas. To help coordinate their units on the battlefield, the Simian Empire has trained spider monkeys to carry messages from the commanders to the troops in battle. These intelligent, and extremely agile, spider monkeys have greatly improved the maneuverability of the Simian battle force, at least when they are given orders from an able commander.
Two Messengers

The Messengers are designed in a "sprinting" pose, and bear two items - a scroll and a bag.
