Time to work on the embroidery. Stripes of Georgia Clay were put around the hem of the tunic and the end of the sleeve. Highlights were created with layers of Georgia Clay, Antigue White, and Magic Wash (1:0:1, 5:1:7, 5:2:8, 5:3:9).

Stripes were painted on a 3x5 card to practice creating a black embroidery pattern, with a Micron Pigmenta 005 archival pen.

Honestly, I should have practiced more than the three patterns on the card. A couple of pattern elements had to be painted over and drawn again. One tip I can pass on is that I got much straighter lines with more control by drawing the line towards me, and rotating the figure for each line.
