Too little, too late… The coloration of the soil in the crater doesn't bug me at all, and turned earth is something I look at a lot of. The base colors work for me, as I remember the old brightly heraldic look of BattleTech's pre-Clan days. It could certainly have benefited from more grunge in keeping with the theme, like changing the color of one lower leg to give it that "transplanted from a battlefield salvage" look, or the beginnings of a nasty hydraulic leak. The windscreen is rather cool. I like it. |
