On the legs, I did a little freehand work. I liked the fluff of the Lotus Hawks, and as such I painted a couple of small Lotus Hawk emblems on the legs.

I began by painting the outline in Vallejo Dark Prussian Blue. I then began highlighting using Americana True Blue, and then finally white.

I can't tell you any good way to do this, but what I did was draw the emblem on a piece of paper several times until I was comfortable doing it, then went ahead and painted it on.

I find that doing a few "practice" runs helps.

I also did a web translation of Lotus Hawks, and wrote the characters in Japanese on the leg.
