I mixed varying amounts of Vallejo Model Color Medium Olive and Yellow to highlight the "canvas" components mentioned above. I painted the goggles with Andrea Colors AC-48 Dark Leather and AC-42 Brown Leather. The metallic components of the rifle are painted with Vallejo Model Color Oily Steel and Vallejo Game Color Brass. I don't recall the exact mixture of paints I used on the rifle stock - wish I did, because I like the results! The cords holding up the Pig's trousers are painted with Andrea Colors AC-4 Japanese Khaki. The next two pictures show what the mini looks like when these steps were complete:

I attached the mini to the base with greenstuff, and then covered the center portion with a pumice mixture. Once the pumice mixture was dry, I applied primer to the base, and them painted the textured portion with Vallejo Model Color Neutral Gray. I added various amounts of white paint to the gray to highlight the base. I avoided highlighting areas under the body, figuring that the area would be in the Pig's shadow.

I painted the eyes, and then used a thinned mixture of Vallejo Model Color German Gray and Black to add dark shadows around the clothing, rifle, and base.
