Many years ago, I tried a few games of Warhammer. To put it shortly: it was a complete disaster. My opponent even destroyed my well!
Now I'm being told that I have grown over it. It's time to pick up the wargloves again! Time to show that my Dutch genes have some battlepower in them.
As a miniatures painter, I've always admired the Demonworld minis. My favorite are the Dwarves.
My lack of experience is a very good reason to get into this contest. It might bring a new point of view to the game - or at least a different one!
I'm the more experienced wargamer, AKA the man who owns more (un)painted lead than his own body-weight (and that is saying something).
Being a rabid board- and wargamer, I have played several wargames - such as Warhammer, Armies of Arcana, and more boardgames than I can remember.
Empires looks like a perfect game for me - a war/board game with miniatures! Brilliant, all my addictions, ehh.. hobbies, all in one.
