While several of the units in the TMP Simian Army (for Hundred Kingdoms by Black Orc Games) will be painted by participants in an online contest, the others will be painted by a hand-selected subset of the world's finest painters.
Today we announce the first recruit: Matt Gubser of Prophet Miniatures. His company provides not just painting services, but also branches out into sculpting and conversions (for both gamers and collectors).
"After spending the last four months working almost exclusively on Golden Demon entries, I'm ready for a little change of pace," says Matt.
"For the last year and a half," he says, "the vast majority of work I have done has been converting Warhammer 40K characters, selling them both painted and unpainted. I also sculpt a little for Doppleganger USA and Knight Terror Games."
Matt will be painting the Centurion for our Simian Army project.
