Showing most of the detailing finished. The most notable features are the Japanese Imperial Navy ensigns hand-painted on the rudders. These are Nechrite Red and Blood Red over Skull White. The windows are layers of Games Workshop Regal Blue, Ultramarine Blue and Enchanted Blue, with a small white highlight in the corner - as seen on previous Aeronef.

Showing the painting finished and the model mounted on a Games Workshop 40mm round base (see earlier Workbench articles for more details). At this stage, the model has been matt-varnished with a water-based acrylic varnish, and just awaits final detailing - the adding of the flags, banners and name plate.
