Rob Jedi continues:

Basecoat

I started on the Reaver by painting its head Bonfire Orange and the body with Scaly Green. I then started highlighting the head with Hobgoblin Orange, and then Vomit Brown (how do they come up with these names?).

I then started giving a wash of Parrot Green to the top of the head around the horns. I continued the green into the blue-green area, and spread it across the shoulder by mixing in Scaly Green into Christmas Green and Parrot green, and then Vomit Brown.

Spreading the green

I was thinning the paints a lot to do all this, and just layering one over the other. I then started making the tail area more blue, so started mixing Enchanted Blue into the Scaly Green, then more Enchanted Blue, then mixed in Sky Blue, then Sky Blue and White.
