In conclusion

Empires

I do not know what went wrong, here, gentle readers. I am inclined to think that perhaps the game contracted some kind of Egyptian curse somewhere in transit. Or perhaps me and my gaming group are just a lazy bunch of slackers. But maybe, just maybe, something in the game itself drove us to our mad refusal to complete our allotted task.

Sadly, I must tell you that Chronoglide has just not been the same since playing the game. He never answers the phone, and won't come out to play. He has withdrawn into a dark fantasy world of his own devising, and I fear for his sanity. I think he has constructed a miniature cemetery for all his little orcs and spends his time weeping at their tiny graves.

Last time I went round to his house to demand some kind of contribution to this review, he refused to speak on the matter, and grew violent. But as I was leaving, he threw a piece of black basalt out onto the path. On it were carved these words, in the Black Speech:

I think our silence will speak volumes... basically, all-right game, but nothing spectacular and a bit Bleeped text without the figures.

I'm off to see who else I can upset on TMP...oh fun, fun, fun...

I fear we have lost him to the Current Affairs board...
