And that's where the painter's photos end, with the understanding that I would take final photos when the Giant arrived back here at TMP.
Did I mention that the assembled Giant weighs about a pound-and-a-half?
Unfortunately, the Giant was damaged in shipping, and arrived here with its head wobbling in its socket. I repaired the head and touched up the paint, only to have the model again become damaged when I hand-carried it to my new house. Again, I re-attached the head (this time with two-part epoxy!), repaired some gaps in the joints, and touched-up the paint job (mostly adding some highlights to cover where paint had scuffed or chipped off).
So now, here are photos of the finished, twice-repaired, Mountain Giant:
Remember, this fellow is a heavy model - handle it by the base/legs when moving it on the tabletop. Do not try to move it by grabbing the head or the arms...
