We have been painting figures for a couple of years, and we've grown rapidly since our inception. Thanks to Personal logo Editor in Chief Bill The Editor of TMP Fezian and TMP for advertising our services, and all our clients who placed their trust in us. We were more than happy to offer our services in painting the Orc Slayers on Bill's request.

Examining the Figures

The figures arrived safely in Sri Lanka. After carefully examining the figures, we were glad that they were in good shape. There were thirty-six 15mm scale Orc Slayers (1 leader and the others in two poses), and Bill requested us to paint them to Collector Standard.

Removing Flash & Basing

All the extra flash was removed carefully, using an X-acto knife and some filing tools. We attend to this very carefully, to prevent figures being damaged. Then the Orc Slayers were washed well to remove any oily substances.

The figures were then glued on Popsicle sticks. Usually, we affix four 15mm figures on one stick.

Priming the Figures

The figures were undercoated using grey enamel spraypaint, and kept over night for drying.

Painting the Figures

Flesh:
Dark tan/brown
Clothes:
Dark, somber colors (mostly blacks and browns)
Hair:
Red (they color their hair red - this is what should be unique about this unit)

The above is the colour scheme that Bill requested. Painting was done using acrylic paints imported from India.

Matt Varnishing & Packing

Once the painting was complete, we removed the figures from the Popsicle sticks and matt-varnished them with Cryla matt varnish from the U.K.

Finally, each individual figure was put in a Ziploc bag, and packed well in a box using packing material (for the safety of figures in transit).
