Rob Jedi continues: Now down to the kilt (shorts?? Couldn't work out exactly what he was wearing here). He seemed to have a sporran, which would mean it's a kilt. But he's supposed to be Viking-inspired and they wore pants so...mmmmm. I decided in the end to go with stripes rather than tartan, to give a more Viking look. Anyway I decided to go with a nice burgundy base here, and highlighted this up with Hudson Red. ![]() I then did vertical stripes with the Hudson Red, and then highlighted those individually with white ink. I then went and added some extra shadows with sepia ink on the dark-red sections. ![]() Only things left on the mini now were the boots (which were done in some more leathery browns - Vermin Fur, coffee, and burnt umber)... ![]() ...and to stick him all together with some Zap-a-Gap. ![]() That's it - hope you all like him. I figured I'd buck the trend and not do NMM this time, after all the talk on the forums. Hope to see you all next round. See the Finished Pictures |
