Patrice Vittesse Fezian writes:

When I first saw these figures, I was truly dreading painting them, as so much of the figures required sticking together, but after an afternoon of puzzling it through I managed to do it. I was also a bit perplexed by the labelling on the packet as "16 men, 1 animal and 3 crew weapons" but after a bit of emailing with Personal logo Editor in Chief Bill The Editor of TMP Fezian and the Fantassin team, was able to establish that the third crew weapon was in fact a weapons crate model!!!

I was also surprised that the pack contained an anti-tank gun crew but no gun!!!

I started these figures in a similar manner to the Italians, with a black undercoat after sticking them on a base.

Then I applied Polyfilla and sand.

Basing sand

A slight difference with some of these figures is that I painted PVA glue onto them and then dipped them in the sand - this made a flatter ground, so that the skis and deployed weapons looked better.

This I then coated in a dark grey and highlighted by drybrushing white, and added a rock or two to some bases to spice them up.
