To be honest, there's not much you can do with painting big humanoid masses of animated chain, so I pretty much just duplicated the factory scheme, with some minor variations.

The one with the extra chains linking the arms to the body was a trivial conversion using some pewter chains from my bits box.

The bloody hands on the other one are done using a thin mix of Tamiya Clear Red and red ink over a base of dark red paint.
